What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractors are primary health care practitioners that diagnose and analyze the neuromusculoskeletal concerns of your body. We provide safe and conservative treatment for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, and extremity joints.

Chiropractors can treat a wide variety of conditions and use different techniques based on the individual's needs.
Examples of Conditions Treated
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Shoulder Rotator Cuff Strain/Tears
Herniated Discs
Degenerative Joint & Disc Disease
Headaches/Migraines
Pregnancy & Postpartum
Jaw pain/clicking
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
Ankle Sprains
Knee pain/ACL/MCL/LCL sprains
Tennis & Golfer's Elbow
Upper and Low Back pain
Torticollis
Plantar Fascitis & Achilles Tendonitis
Morton's Neuroma
Chiropractic Techniques Utilized
Physiotherapy Modalities & Passive Care
Manual Diversified:
Your typical high-velocity, low-amplitude adjustment to the spine.

Flexion/Distraction:
Also known as the Cox® Technic is an evidence-based spinal manipulation that help patients with back and leg pain who have spinal stenosis, disc herniations, facet syndrome, lumbar degeneration, and strains & sprains in the surrounding structures. It involves spinal decompression with minimal flexion of specific joints in the low back.

Drop Table:
Use of a specialized table that drops down before the adjustment is performed. Typically results in a lower force on the patient. Technique is especially suitable for pregnant women or those requiring a lower force to the joints.
Activator:
A hand held instrument, spring loaded instrument used to deliver a quick, low amplitude force to the joints. The instrument provides a specific localized force without disrupting the surrounding structures and is thought to be so quick that it is less likely to tense the muscles (and cause pain).

Interferential Current - IFC:
Is an electrical impulse for the purpose of reducing pain, inflammation, swelling, and muscle spasms. This type of current goes deeper than a TENS device and interferes with pain transmission at the spinal cord. Depending on the injury, IFC can be used to increase and improve lack of joint movement.

Cupping:
Is based upon ancient Chinese therapy whereby cups are placed on injured areas. These cups are "suctioned" to the skin and can either be stationary or moved along a muscle. It is said to draw blood to the affected area which improves circulation and decrease muscle tension.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT):
Is a low frequency laser - a form of photo-biomodulation therapy used for pain reduction and healing stimulation. It is effective in treating musculoskeletal conditions such as but not limited to Achilles Tendinopathy, TMJ dysfunction, shin splints, Morton's Neuroma and other pain disorders.
